To all our members and guests if you have any news or information you would like to share, please contact Glen Forder via the Contact us page, through the Lodge secretary or just see me at lodge meetings or LoI's

At our first regular meeting of the year we were witness to something most brethren may not have seen before, four candidates being initiated at the same time. At first when our Worshipful Master proposed the idea, there were mixed feelings on undertaking such an event, but, with a lot of hard work and commitment at LoI's, hard work preparing the items needed for the initiation ceremony, we were ready. The lodge prepared, the candidates were led in and underwent a truly exceptional and memorable initiation. with every Brother carried out their roles with precision and excellence, the whole ceremony went without a hitch. the Festive Board was well received with forty plus members and guests in attendance. We would like to welcome Bro's Jay, Lester, Emerson and Tristan to our fraternity and hope they have a long and happy career in the Lodge and Masonry.

We had an extra meeting this Friday 10th January to install two members, Bro. Scott Thompson and Bro. William Baker. Bro. Scott is the son of Bro. Ashley Thompson and as a Lewis Bro. Ashley took the role of JD to lead Bro. Scott through the ceremony and as it was a double lead Bro. Will also, Bro. Ashley performed his duties admirably. The working tools were given by Bro. Ellis (his first outing in a ceremony), the Charge to the Initiates was given by W. Bro. Gunn, both given to an exemplary standard, of course not forgetting all other officers of the lodge who also gave an outstanding performance. the festive board saw some confusion at the first fire (as expected) but that was soon worked out, the speech to the initiates was given by W. Bro. Stagg-Blackman with the initiates poem given by W. Bro Cooper both being very well received, the replies were equally well received. We would like to welcome Bro's Scott and Will to our fraternity and hope they have a long and happy career in the Lodge.

On the 5th December 2019 we saw our newly elected W. Bro. Robert Mathew installed in to the chair as Worshipful Master, the ceremony was well delivered with all previous, temporary and newly installed Officers performing to an exemplary standard. We had a very good attendance with four Grand Masters, five Worshipful Masters from other lodges totaling twenty three guests, along with our own thirty seven members. there was bitter sweet news as our Secretary of ten years W. Bro. Peter Fielder stood down from office to be replaced by W. Bro. Neil McLean, sorry to see you go from the post Peter, Neil, we hope your role in office is a long and successful one. lastly we would like to wish Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Bob Mathew and his newly elected officers a successful and ritual forgetting free year.

Bro. David Gager and W. Bro. Laurie Boyall, they were presented with their certificates in March and October respectively by W.Bro. Peter Hollingsworth PSGD.
